what happened to me? where did I get lost?

when? when did the wolves kidnap me?

i keep asking myself what happened. i’ve even asked you and i know you love me.
i keep crying and whining, sitting in this fucking chair in this fucking room in this fucking circle, bitting my own tail again and again. i don’t know where to begin. i don’t know what to say, what to breath, what to write, what to drink. but if i could, i’d drink my own tears, and spit them into fire. fire that burns in my stomach
and explains that i’m scared of what’s about to come. i quitted being brave.

i define myself as an alien but am scared of jumping out to the moon. it’s all a lie. i quitted being brave.

and i know changes aren’t always bad, but i need my home. i need the sky that surrounds my house.
is it that? have i lost the sky?.
is it that i can’t see stars in the city? the star syndrom. because i think stars were what made me keep believing. I know the infinite lights reassured me in a way that i was real.

i’ve lost it. and i’ve said it before, i know, but this time… this time i feel i can’t do it without saying goodbye to the things that tie me, the things that intoxicate me. the wolves keep staring at me. growling in the darkness, scaring me, keeping me back.

i need to get back. back there. to that place where i’d spend hours surrounded by capital letters, tender whistles, and waves. that place where i’d scream and stones would scream back, but i’d scream louder and show my heart, full of blue blood stating that I was kind of special. i need to go back to where my lilypad was small and wasn’t eating me alive, staining my eyes.

the sun used to cover my body there, and i always, always smiled. and i just realized i’ve lost my smile, as well. fuck. and i’m not heart-broken, (i think i won’t ever be again though). it’s the worst thing about this agony.

and i have to apologise. to myself and the ones that surround me.

because i know i’m not the same anymore.

p.s: but i didn’t quit. there’s still a bit of hope. i’m just defeated and that doesn’t mean i’m finished.

sometimes, you have to get lost, to truly find yourself.
